Rising Stars Are
Young performers who love musical theatre.
Performers who are ready to gain confidence + focus.
They are ready for more training!
They are excited to make friends with like minded individuals.
Rising Stars is a musical theatre performance team for performers in 2nd-8th grade. They begin training during Summer Session 2024 by taking two required Lab classes or 2 1-week intensives: Acting Lab 1 and Musical Theatre Dance Lab 1.
Rising Star Performers will perform in the Rising Star fall show + continue the Lab classes. After their performance in the fall they will begin their Rising Star Rehearsals!
Rising Star Rehearsals meet 3-times per week starting in November - February as we prepare a 15-minute cut from their fall production to take to Sacramento, California to the Junior Theatre Festival West and be adjudicated by industry professionals from Broadway and all over the world!
After the JTF West experience Rising Stars will continue their Lab classes through May 2025 and are required to enroll in a spring session 2025 show. It is a year of fun, acting, singing, dancing, and friendship!
